About this event
This class will explore the options seniors have to provide for loved ones when they pass and how seniors can protect themselves during their remaining years. Questions will be raised, addressed and answered like: Will I have enough money and assets to provide for: Me during my lifetime?, My loved ones if either I or my spouse is in a long term care facility that may cost $180,000 to $200,00 per year? and What documents do I need while I am competent that may provide me with sufficient flexibility if my situation changes?, My children do not support my religious wishes when I pass, what can I do?, Do I need a Trust or a Will? What is the difference?, Can my loved ones avoid probate? What does probate cost? How long does it take? Robert T. Boudreau, Esq., of Desmond, Rand & Guerard has practiced law for 48 years and specializes in estate planning for the elderly. Formerly an adjunct professor at UNE and UMass and senior VP of New England Bank, he currently lectures at venues throughout Southern Maine.
