Visit trails and structures built by the Civilian Conservation Corps and examine rare photographs on a 2.5-mile accessible guided ride that explores the legacy of the WWI veterans who helped shape Fullersburg Woods during the Great Depression. Ages 16 and up; under 18 with an adult. $10 per person. To register by phone instead, call 630-850-8112.
Park at the lot on Spring Road 0.5 mile south of 31st Street and 0.5 mile north of York Road. We'll meet at the information sign near the nature education center. Dress for the weather and wear proper footwear.
