About this event

Description

Learn how a raw sheep fleece goes from being a stinky, matted mess into soft, beautiful roving ready for spinning. If you’re interested in spinning from wool you’ve prepared yourself or you’re just curious about how the process of making wool yarn begins, this program is for you. Ages 8 and up; under 18 with an adult. $5 per person. To register by phone instead, call 630-850-8112.

Park in the lot on the east side of the intersection of York and Spring roads. Cross York at the crossing sign or use the underpass. The Graue House is just south of Graue Mill. Bring water. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
