Description

Designed specifically for adults ages 50 and older, this beginner-friendly four-week course introduces the fundamentals of horseback riding. Whether you've always wanted to ride or are returning to the saddle after many years, this class will help you build confidence while learning essential riding skills.

Participants will learn proper horse handling and safety, mounting and dismounting techniques, correct riding position, posting to the trot, understanding diagonals, and canter preparation.

Classes will be held at Hunter Lane Stables. Participants should wear long pants and closed-toe shoes or boots with a heel.
