1 Thursday, January 29, 4:00 - 6:00 pm Origami Book Binding Taught by Courtney Christensen, 16+ $30 Member / $33 Non-member Create a twisty, fun origami book to use as a scrapbook, journal, and more. Paper for book covers will be provided, but if the student has specific paper they'd like to use, they can bring two 8.5"x11" sheets. The Newark Arts Alliance will retain a $5 cancellation fee if a student withdraws from a class. Courtney grew up in the mountains of northern Utah and found a love of arts and crafts at an early age. After receiving an Anthropology B.A. at Utah State University, she spent three years in Japan, where she had the chance to study traditional arts in the Japanese countryside. Courtney spends her time writing, bookbinding, painting, and more.
