1 Monday, February 9, 12:00 - 4:00 pm Mandala Dragonfly Taught by Monica Eberle, 112+ $ Member / $ Non-member Come join us for a meditative and creative journey while we create a beautiful Mandala inspired Dragonfly! Don't worry if you don't consider yourself an artist - no experience is necessary for this beginner level class. We will go through the basic techniques and use a simple Mandala pattern to create your own masterpiece. There will be several color palettes to choose from and you will receive hands on instruction to guide you through the creation process. The dragonflies are beautiful indoors or out! The Newark Arts Alliance will retain a $5 cancellation fee if a student withdraws from a class. Monica (the Moni in MoniGrams) stumbled across Pointillism and Mandala art in 2020 while researching Henna Tattoos and a new mash up was born! Combining techniques from both art forms and creating playful designs done on hand poured molded 'stones', class participants can expect a fun, meditative and creative introduction to the art form.
