1 Saturday, February 21, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Figure Drawing Workshop: Shading Taught by Michele Tilford , 18+* $30 Member / $33 Non-member Creating a more "plastic" drawing, adding shading will add "mass" to your drawings. We will learn about the basics of shading forms and how they translate to the figure. Some experience with drawing the figure will be helpful. (Nude figure ages 16-18 with parental permission) Students provide: 18" X 24" newsprint sketchpad, vine charcoal (soft) 6B charcoal pencil, kneaded eraser, drawing board if you have one. The Newark Arts Alliance will retain a $5 cancellation fee if a student withdraws from a class.
