1 Sunday evening, 4-6pm, June 14 Creative Caregivers - June (see additional dates in July and August! Come to one, two, or all three!) Led by Pamela Draper, 18+ Caregiving asks a lot of you!This welcoming, drop-in space is designed to help you refill your cup using the creative arts. Join other caregivers—people who work in the caring professions, family members of people with complex needs, etc.—for time to express, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Each session offers gentle creative practices, meaningful connection, and realistic approaches to self-care. Facilitated by Pamela Draper, board-certified music therapist with over a decade in healthcare—and a deep, personal understanding of burnout and renewal. Instructor Bio: Pamela Draper is a board-certified music therapist and nonprofit arts leader based in Newark, Delaware. She serves as Executive Director of the Newark Arts Alliance and is the founder of Woven in Song Music & Wellness, where she uses intentional music, learning, and reflection experiences to support healing and growth. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Music from West Chester University in 2005, Pamela went on to Temple University to complete a Master’s degree in Music Therapy in 2013. She has provided individual and group music therapy in inpatient psychiatric settings, substance use treatment programs, schools, outpatient clinics, and long-term care settings. Woven in Song Music & Wellness centers on the belief that community music helps weave deeper meaning and stronger connections within and among us. The Newark Arts Alliance will retain a $5 cancellation fee if a student withdraws from a class.
