5 Thursdays, July 16 - August 13, 10 am - 12:00 pm Still Life Studio Taught by Tara Jensen, 15+ Explore creativity through the practice of a classic still life. In a relaxed, welcoming environment, I will help guide you in creating original artwork inspired by collections of every day objects. Each session will have a different theme to spark new ideas and creative approaches. Students may use any artistic medium they prefer and bring with them the materials they enjoy. This class will be flexible and exploratory. Whether you're a beginner looking to experiment and learn new skills or an experienced artist wanting time and space to create, I hope you will join us for a supportive environment to practice the art of observation, artistic technique, and draw inspiration from the ordinary. Students will provide their preferred medium materials including but not limited to pencils, pastels, charcoal, etc. The Newark Arts Alliance will retain a $5 cancellation fee if a student withdraws from a class.
