1 Friday, May 15, 7:00 - 9:00 pm Resin Suncatcher Taught by Rita DiCicco, 18+ $42 Member / $46 Non-member Let the sunshine bring your artwork to life! In this class, you’ll create a beautiful translucent suncatcher using vibrant colors, glitter, and more. Once cured, your suncatcher will glow beautifully in any sunny window. No prior experience is needed, just bring your creativity! Due to the resin curing process, your finished project will need to cure overnight and be picked up the next day. Once resin cures, it is not possible to remove from clothes. Please wear clothes that allow you to roll up your sleeves. If you have an apron, it may help as well. The Newark Arts Alliance will retain a $5 cancellation fee if a student withdraws from a class. Rita is a resin artist who loves helping others explore their creativity through hands-on resin art projects. She creates a welcoming and encouraging classroom where students of all experience levels feel comfortable making something new. Her classes focus on learning a variety of techniques while having fun and creating a project her students are proud of. Rita believes art should be enjoyable, inspiring, and a little messy sometimes.
