In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll design a freestanding pumpkin featuring a quilt-inspired pattern using colored resin, pigments, and decorative embellishments. Learn resin pouring techniques, color placement, and finishing tips while creating a unique seasonal decoration perfect for your home or as a handmade gift. All materials are provided, and no prior resin experience is necessary. The Newark Arts Alliance will retain a $5 cancellation fee if a student withdraws from a class. Rita DiCicco is a resin artist, instructor, and educator with a passion for helping others discover their creativity. She teaches resin art classes at local art centers and has experience guiding beginners through a variety of projects, from functional décor to unique works of art. Rita creates a welcoming environment where students can learn new techniques and leave with a project they're proud of.
