1 Wednesday, January 28, 1:00 - 3:30 pm Paint Along, Paint Together - January Taught by Denise Van Deroef, 18+ $28 Member / $30 Non-member January Paint Along - "White Pines" - Acrylic Paining Paint Along, Paint Together. Paint along with local artist Denise Van Deroef and paint together with other painters who are on all levels from beginner to more experienced. Denise will provide image and step by step instruction, and some acrylic supplies,  as you follow along or take your painting in different directions.  Class will meet every 4th Wednesday afternoon of the month. Student supply list will be sent to registrants. Student provides: -Canvas Board or stretched canvas small size 9 x12” or 11 x14”) -Disposable paint palette pad or plastic palette paint keeper -A plastic palette knife if you have one - A few synthetic or golden taklon ( acrylics) paint brushes -Thick Acrylic Paints in TUBES (not bottles) Liquitex reg. or heavy body recommended (not Artist Loft or SoHo student grade) Colors for White Pines:Titanium White, Cadmium Yellow (Medium), Ultramarine Blue, Hooker's Green, Mars Black Instructor will provide water cups, paper towels, paper plates for mixing, table easels, extra brushes in various sizes and decades of painting experience. The Newark Arts Alliance will retain a $5 cancellation fee if a student withdraws from a class. Denise is a retired High School Art Educator, teaching adults since 2010 in a variety of mediums. She is a frequent exhibitor in NAA Group exhibits and the Members Shoppe each month. She holds a BFA and an MA in Fine Arts. Denise usually works in Acrylic, Watercolors, Pastels and mixed media exploring scenic and nature subjects.
