1 Saturday, June 13, 2:00 - 4:30 pm Intro to Fused Glass - Suncatcher + Pendant Taught by Wendi Jacobs, 16+ You'll have the choice to make one large suncatcher and one pendant in this beginner level class that absolutely anyone can complete. You''ll learn glass safety, scoring and breaking (aka glass cutting) and design elements for fused glass work. All materials and one kiln firings provided - just come ready to learn, have fun and be creative. Your pieces will be ready for pick-up approximately one week after class. The Newark Arts Alliance will retain a $5 cancellation fee if a student withdraws from a class. Wendi is a life-long, natural born artist. She enjoys experimenting with different media, but most of her work is in fused glass. She has been working in fused glass since 2016 and teaching since 2018.
