About this event
Prepare for takeoff in a high-flying course that introduces students to the thrilling physics of aviation and aerospace engineering. Young engineers will spend the term exploring the four fundamental forces of flight: lift, weight, drag, and thrust. Through interactive building challenges, students will design high-performance paper gliders, test parachute drag, and construct pressurized bottle rockets to launch outdoors. We will also study biomimicry by observing how birds and insects naturally utilize Bernoulli’s principle to navigate the skies. Every session balances creative design with trial-and-error testing, proving that failure is just the first step toward a successful launch.
