This course introduces the fundamental skills and concepts of oil painting. Open to all levels, it is ideal for beginners as well as students with some experience who want to strengthen their skills and build confidence with the medium. Through structured exercises, students develop an understanding of visual language while exploring personal expression. Topics include color and design theory, value, composition, tools and materials, canvas preparation, and essential oil-painting techniques. Students will work from observation, photographs, and imagination while building a strong foundation for continued artistic development.
