About this event
Evidence-based practice is the foundation of high-quality, safe, and effective healthcare delivery, and nurse leaders play a critical role in translating research into everyday clinical practice. This e-learning module, From Research to Reality: Evidence-Based Leadership in Practice, equips nurse leaders with practical strategies to embed evidence-based practice into team workflows and decision-making. Learners will explore how internal and external factors influence care delivery and organizational priorities while developing skills to integrate quality and safety standards into clinical environments. The course also focuses on aligning unit-level objectives with broader organizational goals to improve patient outcomes across the continuum of care. Designed for nurse leaders at all levels, this module strengthens the ability to lead with evidence, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset. Vanderbilt University School of Nursing is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation. To earn continuing education credit, participants must complete both the Nurse Leader pre-assessment and post-assessment. Upon successful completion, learners will be awarded 0.75 ANCC contact hours.
