About this event
Engineer high-performance RC race cars using real-world Formula 1 aerodynamic principles. Students design components in CAD software, 3D print custom body panels, wings, and diffusers, then validate their designs using wind tunnel testing. The iterative engineering process covers drag reduction, downforce optimization, airflow management, and data-driven design refinement. Semester culminates in time trials where students compete with their optimized vehicles. Ideal preparation for automotive engineering, aerospace, and mechanical engineering pathways.
