It seems like music is everywhere these days, available 24/7 on your phone, tablet, TV, and other smart devices. Even if you don’t particularly like music, you hear it in restaurants, stores, TV shows and movies, and more. But is music more than just pleasant entertainment? Music has been around for millennia, certainly predating written language, and possibly existing before spoken language. It is present in every culture on earth. The human brain is constructed to intrinsically interact with music. It seems that music is fundamental to being human. In this presentation, you’ll learn how musical you really are, whether you like music or not or have had any musical training. You’ll also learn how amazing your brain is in recognizing and remembering music. Come listen and learn about your brain and music!
