General Activity Description:
Discover the magic of ceramic glazing as you create a one of a kind serving bowl using specialty glazes and the mesmerizing “frozen pond” technique. In this hands on class, you’ll explore how layered colors interact, flow, and crystallize to form stunning, glassy patterns. No experience needed—just a willingness to play, experiment, and enjoy the process.Your finished stoneware bowl will measure approximately 9" in diameter and is built to be both beautiful and functional. Stoneware is exceptionally durable, fully microwave safe, and dishwasher friendly, making your artwork perfect for everyday use or special occasions.Once fired, your piece will be ready for pickup within two weeks, transformed into a shimmering, show stopping bowl that’s sure to impress anyone who sees it.

A $70 material fee is payable to the instructor at class for supplies. Finished pieces may be picked up two weeks after class at Rosehill Community Center
