Description

Prepare the next generation of responsible babysitters with this interactive, hands-on safety course taught by an experienced first responder. This class teaches essential babysitting skills including child supervision, basic first aid, emergency recognition, safe decision-making, professionalism, and how to respond confidently during unexpected situations. Participants will also learn age-appropriate CPR and choking response awareness, home safety principles, and effective communication with parents. Whether preparing for a first babysitting job or building lifelong leadership skills, students will leave with greater confidence and practical knowledge to help keep children safe. Successful participants receive a two-year HSI Child and Babysitting Safety certification.
