UC/CSU a-g + NCAA + WASC Approved. For NCAA credit, students must log progress of at least 21 days. The courses are available 24-7 in an asynchronous format. Each term represents a single semester of 5 credits. Both terms must be taken for a full year of 10 credits. Course B is only the second half of the Spanish 1 course. High school students begin their study of Spanish language and culture with fundamental building blocks in four key areas: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Each lesson includes activities focused on vocabulary and pronunciation, grammar, reading and writing, and listening and speaking. The course also includes video and text presentations covering people, places, and events in Spanish-speaking areas across the globe.
