The October Blood Moon is a rare and spectacular event, offering a chance to witness the Moon turning a deep red while fully illuminated by Earth's refracted sunlight. It’s also a wonderful month to learn how to stop the flow of blood, a rare and spectacular skill. Prepare now in case you are needed to provide emergency care - learn how to correctly identify and stop life threatening bleeds using tourniquets and wound packing.
