Established in 1940, the Oregon Hill Center is located inside Pine Street Baptist Church. The Center works with volunteers to provide services to the community. Director Jennifer Turner presents this unique outreach program and its role in the River City Faith Network.

OREGON HILL BAPTIST CENTER
The Oregon Hill Baptist Center is one of three Baptist Centers located in inner-city Richmond. The Center is supported by the churches of the River City Faith Network along with others outside the Network.
Currently their services include: a cooked meal to over 100 people every Thursday, a locker room that allows 91 individuals a place to safely keep their important belongings, a clothing closet especially geared towards the unhoused, a mailing address, free haircuts once a month, and the ability to do their laundry twice a month. In addition to these basic need services, they also assist with obtaining ID’s, medication, mentoring, and cooperating with other organizations regarding referrals and working together to guide individuals into self-sufficiency.
