Handgun Skills - Low Light No Light will provide students with the most up to date techniques for manipulating a handheld white light while using a handgun. Practical application and lighting tactics are also discussed and practiced. Topics Covered - Principles of tactical White Light Use - Handheld light shooting techniques - Use of Cover with handheld light - One Handed Draw - Malfunction Clearance Techniques while manipulating a handheld light - Slide Lock Reload Techniques while holding a white light. Required Equipment •Pistol or Revolver (Pistol Mounted Optic strongly encouraged) - No micro guns. • 400 rds ammunition or more if you like to shoot. • Good quality holster Strong side belt mounted holster such AIWB, IWB, OWB. No cross draw, shoulder, ankle holsters. No pocket carry. Holsters where the trigger finger actuates a security device are discouraged but allowed. Holster must stay open when there is no firearm in it. • 4 magazines or more - Mandatory (you should have more, if you don't your wrong!) or enough revolver loaders to hold 40 rounds. • Magazine carrier, pocket style carrier, belt mounted, IWB are all acceptable.
