Get outside with us to experience, share and celebrate the joy and impact of trails! Hosted annually in April, Celebrate Trails Day is an initiative from the Rails to Trails Conservancy to encourage people across the country to enjoy our nation’s – and for us, Will County’s! – exceptional trails and trail systems. This year we’re showcasing Will County’s first Rails-to-Trails project, the recently refinished Old Plank Road Trail! Join us for the ride followed by social time after to enjoy non-alcoholic beers and seltzers donated by Celebrate Trails Day sponsor Athletic Brewing. Experienced riders only please. A bicycle and helmet are required for each participant. The ride is up to 18.5 miles roundtrip on asphalt.
