Do you feel intimidated by technology? Don’t worry! You are invited to join us at the Barbara Lee SeniorCenter for a series of classes that have been specifically designed to help you become tech-savvy. These classes are offered in partnership with AnewVista. Their skilled instructors will guide you through the basics and beyond. This is an amazing opportunity for you to learn and connect with others in a fun and supportive environment.Classes are held twice a month. By participating in this program, you may qualify for free annual premium membership to AnewVista’s training platform, which includes virtual training, access to premium live classes, and more.

• May 21, Streaming TV

This class aims to introduce older adults to the world of streaming services, such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video. Participants will learn how to access and navigate these platforms, as well as discover a variety of content to enjoy.

• June 4, Using Microsoft Word

The class is designed to empower older adults with essential skills for using Microsoft Word. Participants will learn how to create, edit, and format documents, enhancing their ability to produce written content and navigate the features of this widely used word processing software.

• June 11, Microsoft PowerPoint

This class is designed to introduce students to the powerful presentation software, Microsoft PowerPoint. Participants will learn the fundamentals of creating engaging slideshows, incorporating visuals, and delivering impactful presentations.
