Description

Mixtacular Pickleball Open TournamentJoin us for a one-day Pickleball Doubles Tournament designed for recreational-level players (2.5–3.0). This event combines a true tournament feel with the round-robin format used in our weekly leagues—making it the perfect way to compete, have fun, and experience how our leagues are run.

Details:

• Teams register as doubles (2 players of any gender)
• 1 registration per team
• Age minimum = 16 years old at date of event
• Guaranteed 8 games minimum
• 7 round-robin pool play games
• Single-elimination bracket game
• Partners stay together for the entire tournament
• Fast-moving format with minimal downtime
• Friendly, organized environment with staff support
• We will use the Pickleheads app to create matchups/bracket

Tournament Format

Pool Play:

• 16 teams total
• 7 rounds
• Games played to 11 points, win by 1 (side-out scoring)

Bracket Play

• Single-elimination
• Games played to 11 points, win by 2
• Seeding based on pool play results

Team Alternates

• Teams may list one (1) optional alternate.
• All roster members must be submitted at registration or emailed to adult.sports@mesaaz.gov by February 23.

No roster changes after this date. Substitutions may not occur during a game except due to injury.
