The YTN Performance Series: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. Everyone is cast and the session culminates in a full production. Students work together for three weeks with YTN super-star educator Amy J. Ferguson to create basic production elements using items from home, YTN stock, and their own creations. Sometimes we share the stage with another show, sometimes it’s all our own, the adventure changes every session keeping us on our toes and presenting endless opportunities for creative problem solving and teamwork. Show Summary: The Pevensie children (Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy) discover a wardrobe that leads to magical land of Narnia, a frozen land terrorized by the White Witch. Lucy meets friendly creatures, while Edmund is lured by the Witch’s false promises. The children join Aslan, the true king of Narnia, and with Aslan’s help, they lead a great battle against the Witch! All before eventually returning home through the wardrobe. Week 1 (7/13-7/17): Rehearsals this week will be offsite at the Three Dragons Academy located at 102 W Roy St, Seattle, WA 98119 Week 2 (7/20-7/24): Rehearsals this week will move onsite to the YTN Campus at 4400 86th Ave SE, Mercer Island, WA 98040 Week 2 (7/27-7/31): Rehearsals and Performances this week will continue to be onsite at YTN Campus at 4400 86th Ave SE, Mercer Island, WA 98040 Performances: 7:00pm on Friday 7/31 & Saturday 8/1 in the Parish Hall Theater onsite at YTN 4400 86th Ave SE, Mercer Island, WA 98040. Call Time (arrival) for students will be 6:00pm on 7/31 & 8/1 Students should be sent to camp with a water bottle, snack, and a lunch that doesn’t need to be refrigerated or microwaved.
