SAT Math prep: • We will begin with discussion about the SAT Math section and instruction on test-taking skills, including general tips and math-specific strategies. Practice will be given regarding multiple strategies to help students develop their • Students will practice with sample SAT sections, specific math question styles, and individual exercises on SAT Math concepts. • Lessons will cover commonly mistaken SAT questions/content and practice with SAT Math formulas and verbage. • After the course, students are encouraged to continue their practice by utilizing the College Board's full-length practice tests as well as provided resources. Students need to have the following: • Personal electronic device (laptop) • SAT approved calculator (not a cell phone calculator) SAT Reading/Writing and Language Prep: The SAT test can be anxiety inducing for many students but have no fear HT Test Prep is here! The best way to ensure a good score on the reading and writing portion of the SAT is to read, and read again, and keep reading, and when you finish, read again but if you haven’t done that then test prep is the way to go! Although the SAT is not a test you can “cram” for, you can prepare and improve your score with some quality practice. We will cover test taking skills and some tips specific to the SAT, practice the skills necessary for quality reading comprehension in both fiction and non-fiction, we will practice the types of writing and grammar questions on the SAT and we will use the feedback given by the College Board regarding the PSAT to develop an independent study plan for each student.
