Interested in doing your part toward environmental sustainability? Do you have a vegetable garden, orchard, or do you enjoy planting? Raising your own honeybees can increase your yield 10-fold. In this five-week classroom course, learn the principles of beekeeping; honeybee biology; honeybee safety; how to read a hive; honeybee nutrition; and honeybee communication. Join a Cornell Master Beekeeper, to gain the knowledge needed to become a successful "newbee" beekeeper. Now is the time to start your honeybee journey.
