In this program, you are guided through the creation of a "tiny book" that expresses your story and artistry. Tarek Atia of INFOLDING provides all the materials and instruction to put together your own paper book using a selection of themed images, with thoughtful prompts to spark your memories and imagination. How the images speak to you and how you choose to arrange them expresses your own journey and outlook on the world. This thoughtful and cathartic exercise is a great way to quietly connect with those around you while working on your own books side by side! Walk away with a tiny book you can share with your fellow attendees, and family + friends.
This is a beginner friendly craft experience hosted in an accessible space. Participants can expect to fold paper, use scissors to cut paper and photos, and use their choice of staples, tape, or glue.
