National Cathedral Garden Tour, Washington

Wednesday, September 30, 2026, 8:00 am-4:00pm
Accessibility Considerations: Visiting the National Cathedral Gardens entails navigating to and from the bus at the Community Center and the drop-off location. The bus route to/from the site is typically less than 1 hour, traffic dependent. There may be up to .25 miles of traversing to and from the bus to the Cathedral Gardens. It takes approximately 45 minutes of walking to tour the whole gardens, with additional time standing and observing the scenery and flowers. The tour covers some uneven ground such as grass, dirt, gentle slopes, and stone pavers.
SIA trip costs include transportation, meal, and entry tickets as applicable. A bus will be provided to and from McLean Community Center to the trip location. Upon registration, members will receive additional information and ongoing updates regarding the itinerary, menu options, and maps/location information.
Inclement Weather: in the event of inclement weather, depending on the availability and policies of the site visit location, the trip will be canceled/refunded, rescheduled, or moved to an indoor alternative.
