Looking discover a fun new activity to do together as a family? Discover Archery is a new program designed for youth (10+) and adults who have little or no experience with archery. This is a step up from our camp programs, and each participant will be introduced to shooting a compound bow equipped with a sight, a rest and peep while learning to use a release aid. Throughout the program we will teach each participant proper shooting form and technique along with range safety, in a fun and encouraging environment. Parents are invited to participate alongside their kids, making this a great opportunity to learn a new sport, spend time together, and have fun as a family! This is a 6 week program that will begin on Monday, September 28th and end on Monday, November 2nd from 6:00-7:30pm. We will play lots of fun games and have a short weekly devotion together! No prior archery experience is necessary to participate, and we will provide all the equipment needed for the program. Each participant will use a compound bow that is fitted specifically to them to help ensure they have the right equipment to learn and grow. We would like to extend a special thank you to the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation for their generous support in helping make this new program possible for our local youth and families. The cost is $55 per person. Children must be in at least 4th grade during the 2026 school year to participate. Please register each individual who is participating.
