McAllen Marathon Scott Crane Run!

The McAllen Marathon Scott Crane Run is a destination event that is expected to draw more than 12,000 runners and spectators from across the Rio Grande Valley, United States of America, and Mexico.

This is a Boston Qualifying Race that includes a 26.2 mile full marathon, 13.1 half marathon, 6-person relay, 10K, 5K and a Kids Final Mile.

The 2026 McAllen Marathon Scott Crane Run will have all races taking place on one single day, January 17, 2026.

McAllen Marathon Running Series!

We pride ourselves on welcoming all to take on our running series challenge, from some of the greatest elite runners, to those who thought completing a marathon would never be possible.

Many regular runners find this the ideal event to get a personal best time, whilst everybody finds the incredible McAllen support throughout the courses unforgettable.

Runners that participate in each of the five races: MXLAN Neon Nights 5K, Independence 4K, Fright Nite 5K, Turkey Trot 5K/10K, and a race on marathon weekend, will be awarded with the McAllen Marathon Scott Crane Running Series medal.
