Learn how to use familiar geometric forms to create cartoon characters in the popular Japanese anime style as well as several other styles used to create popular graphic novels, including the popular Harry Potter series and Marvel characters. Students will gain understanding of construction and proportions as relates to figurative drawing. This fun class will also teach the principles of perspective drawing and background design, so that kids may place their characters into realistic settings.
