The UW Health Learning Kitchen at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI has cooking classes for all skill levels!

Looking to learn grilling basics? Join Registered Dietitian (and grilling guru) Wendy Hahn in the Learning Kitchen for this hands-on cooking class where we'll cover grilling basics while making a delicious, nutritious meal!
We will begin the class in The Learning Kitchen and then head outside to the grilling area. Please come prepared with a hat or sunglasses. In case of rain, the class will be taught indoors using the stove flat top.


What We'll Be Cooking:

• Zesty Marinated Grilled Chicken: Learn how to add a flavor punch to your grilled food with this Mexican-inspired marinade that will have you thinking you're at the beach.
• Seasonal Grilled Veggies: This quick grilled side recipe is super versatile - just use what's available and in season! Learn tips and tricks for grilling veggies, including the use of copper grilling mats.
• Sweet-and-Savory Grilled Stone Fruit: Did you know you can make dessert on your grill, too? We will grill up seasonal stone fruit and top it with a lightly sweetened Greek yogurt with toasted almonds.
