Critter Clue Quest: Shelter Sleuths10:00 am - 11:30 pmJug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary1361 Wrighton Rd, Lothian, MD 20711We need the help of young wildlife detectives for another mission: this time, to investigate the homes that have appeared throughout the sanctuary. From nests, to burrows, to lodges, animals build shelters that can reveal who lives in an area without us ever seeing who made them. In this hands-on program, kids explore replica nests, examine burrows and dens, compare building materials, and unravel the clues left behind by nature’s most clever construction crews. After cracking the case of “Who Built This Home?” we’ll take a short walk to discover real wildlife shelters hidden throughout Jug Bay. Fee $5 per person. No refunds for participant cancellation or no shows. Open to all families. Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required.
