Description

Crenshaw Classic Track & Field is a free after-school program delivered right on your student's school campus by trained YMCA coaching staff.
Athletes train in sprints, distance, relays, jumps and throws, building skill and conditioning across an eight week season that leads toward the Crenshaw Classic track meet in spring 2027. Sessions run one hour. All skill levels are welcome, no experience is necessary, and there is nothing to purchase. The YMCA provides all equipment.
The season runs September 8 through October 30, 2026. Please note there is no practice on district holidays or minimum days; we follow your campus calendar.
A parent or guardian must be present at every practice. Please plan to remain on site for the full session. Students cannot participate without an adult present.
After you register, all schedule information, practice updates, and team communication will be sent through the TeamSnap app. Watch for an invitation by email once your registration is complete.
All coaches complete Live Scan background clearance, YMCA Child Abuse Prevention training, and CPR and First Aid certification before working with students.
