Description
Wildlife Tracking! Explore the stories written by local animals across the landscape. Through the ancient science of tracking, we can identify the tracks and other sign left by animals, and come to understand the intimate details of their lives. Discover how to identify common local species, as well as ways to practice and connect with other trackers locally and around the nation to develop your skills. This class is entirely outdoors on the Boorman Trail. Please dress appropriately. Participants should expect to walk up to 1.5 miles on maintained trails as well as off-trail into forests and fields. Terrain may require bushwhacking, walking over uneven ground and muddy areas, over logs and other obstacles, and possibly descending under some bridges.
