Join us for a lovely senior day trip to Descanso Gardens! We'll meet at Lomita Park at 9:00 am, and the bus will head out right at 9:30 am. Descanso Gardens is full of charm, with colorful seasonal flowers, shady woodland paths, a peaceful Japanese Garden, and plenty of beautiful spots to enjoy nature. We plan to spend a relaxing few hours exploring and will depart the gardens at around 1:00 pm to head back to Lomita Park. Please remember that outside food (except water) isn't allowed inside the gardens, but there are picnic tables just outside the entrance and a cafe on-site if you'd like to grab a treat! The gardens are mostly flat and easy to walk, and wheelchairs are available on a first-come basis. Be sure to wear comfy shoes and bring a hat or sunscreen.
