Everyone is invited to visit the Carriage House at the Lombard Historical Society to explore an exhibit focused on suffrage and democracy. Through guided discussion and historical storytelling, participants will learn about the fight for voting rights, the voices that shaped democratic change, and the ongoing work of civic participation. This experience highlights how advocacy, perseverance, and collective action have influenced democracy over time. You'll be encouraged to reflect on whose voices have been heard, whose voices were excluded, and how participation continues to shape our communities today.
