Description

Ranger Ian will lead a guided hike on Sycamore Grove's newest stretch of trail: Patterson Ranch! This rugged loop will cover a wide variety of terrain throughout the park and offer stunning views of the Tri-Valley area. The hike will be around 5.5 miles long with lots of vertical gain and loss, so come prepared with appropriate attire, water, snacks, sturdy footwear, and other hiking essentials. While warm temperatures are expected, the hike may be cancelled if the daytime high exceeds 90 degrees. Due to the length and vertical gain/loss of this hike, advanced hiking ability is strongly recommended for participants of this event. Recommended to ages 12+.
