Outdoor Soccer for Pre-JK (Born in 2022 & Starting JK in Sept.) weekly session will consist of a 45-minute program, that provides the perfect introduction to soccer! At this early stage, the main objective for our staff is to get the children active and comfortable with the ball, rather than competitive game play. Fundamental movement skills such as running, jumping, and twisting will be developed and improved, in addition to basic soccer skills such as starting and stopping, changing directions, and kicking the ball. If possible, we encourage parent participation on the field in this program.

Registration includes shirt, shorts, socks, ball, and participation medal provided by Tim Hortons. Click here to visit the Outdoor Soccer pageon our website for the parent letter, weekly schedules and sample lesson plans provided by the Ontario Soccer Association.Again this soccer season, cancellations due to inclement weather, such as heavy rain or thunderstorms, will now be determined at game time on the field when the program begins.* Weather patterns in our area are changing too rapidly to reliably predict cancellations by 5:30 PM, as we have done previously.*We also aim to give children the chance to play whenever possible.*This adjustment in cancellation procedures aligns with the policies of other community soccer programs in our region as well.

Required waivers are to be completed prior to program and then annually each April. For this program the BGCKL programs & services waiver is required.
