In this four week introductory class, students will learn what clay is, how to wedge the clay, center it and throw a variety of shapes on the wheel, including cylinders, bowls and more. Students will also learn how to trim, glaze and decorate their pieces. Students will also get an overview of how kilns interact with different clay bodies and glazes. All materials included. Beginner friendly in a warm, supportive, community studio setting.
