Cover the basics of handbuilding and wheel throwing. Demonstrations will include pinch, coil, and slab forming methods for handbuilding, as well as centering clay and creating forms on the potter’s wheel. Beginner.

Supplies needed: Bring your own tools or purchase a basic kit at the LCAC. A variety of clays are offered for sale at the Center; availability varies based on stock. Class fee includes glazes, most firings, and open studio access. There is a fee for re-fires oversize work. Small storage lockers are available for rent.
