Double Ninth Festival is known as the Chongyang Festival (重阳节). It is also called Senior Day. That is a traditional Chinese holiday held on the 9th day of the 9th lunar month. According to the calendar of 2026, October 18 is the day. Assenior association, CASA designates October 22nd as a time to honor and care for the elderly, and to share the joy and happiness of senior life at 50+ centers.
