Twist, Fold, Clamp – How Can You Resist? Come explore the beauty of pattern and surprise through the art of Shibori! In this hands-on introduction to Japanese resist techniques, you’ll twist, fold, tie, and clamp fabric to create both organic and geometric designs. Traditionally used with indigo, Shibori produces stunning results—in this workshop, we’ll be working with a vibrant palette of fiber-reactive dyes. Each participant will receive one yard of prepared cotton fabric and be guided through a variety of Shibori resist-dye methods. NEXT DAY optional open lab from 10am - 12:30pm.
