Join artist Molly Gray for a hands-on, step-by-step introduction to linocut printmaking. Participants will learn the basics of designing, carving, and printing their own small edition of linocut prints. Each participant will leave with a hand-carved and printed edition of their work, their carved lino matrix (stamp), and the skills to continue exploring linocut on their own. Age & Safety: This workshop is recommended for participants ages 15+ due to the use of sharp carving tools. Younger participants may attend with a parent/guardian. All participants, or a parent/guardian for minors, must sign a waiver acknowledging the risks associated with the use of carving tools and releasing Molly Gray and the Langley Arts Council from liability for injuries that may occur during the workshop.
