About this event
Attention, Edsmen! Did you know you can travel about the same distance as New York City—but instead find yourself immersed in a completely different language and culture? Join us for an unforgettable adventure through Montréal and Québec City, the heart of French-speaking Canada. Spend nearly a week exploring two of North America's most historic and vibrant cities while experiencing what it feels like to step into a different world—without ever leaving the continent. Walk the cobblestone streets of Old Québec, discover centuries of French history, sample authentic Québec cuisine, and hear French spoken all around you. Whether you're a French student or simply curious about another culture, this trip offers an incredible opportunity to broaden your horizons. As part of our Holy Cross tradition, we'll also visit Saint Joseph's Oratory in Montréal, one of the world's largest pilgrimage sites and an important place in the history of the Congregation of Holy Cross. Along the way, you'll learn about the Holy Cross mission in Canada and the remarkable life of Saint Brother André, whose legacy continues to inspire millions of pilgrims each year. Come experience a new culture, strengthen your global perspective, and discover why French Canada is one of North America's hidden gems. Eligibility to participate is subject to positive teacher feedback and the student's academic and behavioral standing, as evaluated by the Deans and the Director of International Programs.
