Using stencils to create decorative patterns, you'll paint a trio of 4" wooden butterflies that are then mounted on brass rods and secured on a driftwood base. This small, colorful "kaleidoscope" -- that's what a group of butterflies is called! -- is a fun decoration and is even more fun to make! NOTE: Hair dryers will be used to speed up the paint drying process, which may allow students to complete their project under the allotted 2.5 hours.
